Policies for Purchases and Payments

Fox IT’s Foxlearn training platform uses a variety of payments options, managed through Woocommerce and the Paypal gateway.  All transaction through https://fox-learn.com go through PayPal and you must have agreed to the terms of usage outlined by Paypal to use this service here.  Fox IT is not responsible for any issues arising through your use of their service.

You agree to pay for the services in the stipulated currency and liable for any conversion charges if any.  You also agree to pay for any sales tax applicable for your region.

On reserving or purchasing Fox IT services on the FoxLEARN platform, you agree to the following

Scheduled courses:

All fees for scheduled courses (virtual, classroom or onsite) are payable at the time of reservation.  You have the right to cancel any reservations 2 weeks prior to the start date of the course.  This can be done via the ‘My Profile and Scheduling’ page.

If you need to cancel your attendance within 2 weeks of the course starting, please contact us at training@foxitsm.com.  If the cancellation is no less than 1 week from the start of the course, Fox IT will offer a 50% refund or the option to reschedule the course to another scheduling.  Less than 1 week, no refund will be available.

eLearning courses:

Fees for eLearning licences and exams are payable at the time of registration.  Note, these are immediate transactions, activating a license and an exam voucher with the Examination Institute, Peoplecert (https://www.peoplecert.org/).

This licence(s) are limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable, and is subject to the rights and obligations granted under these Terms.

Each license provides access for 12 months from the date of purchase and registration.

Cancellation and refunds for the eLearning license is only offered in exceptional circumstances, within one week of registration and dependant on not having accessed any of the content.  Please contact us at training@foxitsm.com.

Cancellation and refunds and exams must be dealt with via our partners at Peoplecert.

Appointments:

Fees for appointments are payable at the point of scheduling. You have the right to cancel any reservations up to 2 weeks prior to the date of the appointment.  This can be done via the ‘My Profile and Scheduling’ page.

If you need to cancel your appointment within 2 weeks of the appointment, please contact us at training@foxitsm.com. If the cancellation is no less than 1 week from the start of the appointment, Fox IT will offer a 50% refund or the option to reschedule the course to time of availability of the Fox IT employee or partner. Less than 1 week, no refund will be available.

Vouchers, pending services or inactive services cannot be used for payment of cancellation charges.

During any service, you may be presented or provided with training material.  All material is licensed under Axelos and Fox IT copyright (Intellectual Property).

You may not copy, modify,  distribute or in any way exploit any Intellectual Property or any other copyrighted materials provided other than for your individual training.  Any other purpose is expressly prohibited under these terms.  You shall also not permit anyone else to copy, use, modify, distribute or in any way exploit any Intellectual Property or any other copyrighted materials.

We will take all reasonable steps to ensure our services are delivered to you at the schedule time (or any time for eLearning courses on FoxLEARN).  There may be times when your access is restricted beyond our control.  There may also be interruptions to services due to maintenance or updates to the training of the FoxLEARN platform. Fox IT will take all reasonable steps to restore the service during such times.

Services purchased from Fox IT on the FoxLEARN platform cannot be transferred without the express permission of Fox IT.  In the event that any service is transferred, you agree to be bound by these terms and the transferee must agree to abide by these terms.

Fox IT will not be liable for any loss or damages for using our services virtually or online.

Fox IT will not be liable for any services purchased via FoxLEARN for our partners that may be responsible for loss or damages (Peoplecert, technology supporting Fox ITs platforms)

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
